About Achievements – The Saakashvili Presidential Library
Founded by former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, the Saakashvili Presidential Library is a political science and educational center that aims to promote liberal democratic values and the ideas of freedom, national unity and independence, free market economy and progress throughout Georgian society and the entire post-soviet space.
Designed by the famous architect Jurgen Mayer in collaboration with Lado Abramishvili, the library is located in a five-storey building in the Saburtalo district of Tbilisi and includes a student café, two open terraces, and a conference hall.
The Library contains several models of contemporary architecture built during Mikheil Saakashvili’s presidency.
The Library is intended to be an information hub for local and foreign media and political science scholars.

The Library will also act as a discussion platform to help students and young people to share experience, network and plan and build their common future around shared values and common interest.
Mikheil Saakashvili has also founded international leadership institutes in Washington and Kiev, which are affiliated to the Presidential Library.
