About Architecture – Georgia’s Glass Police Stations
Since 2009, the government of Georgia has built 80 new police stations and plans to build more. The architecture is futuristic and is also very symbolic: the buildings are open, with large windows and help to show that the democratic process in Georgia is open and transparent for everybody.

The creation of the glass police stations coincides with the appearance of other futuristic, glass-sided public buildings, including “Public Service Halls,” one-stop shops for government services. You can find pictures of Public Service Halls here
